Emergency Medicine Physician

Emergency Medicine physician employment in Alaska : Major Duties: - Responsible for the full range of cases and the immediate initial recognition, evaluation, care, and disposition of patients. - Provide recommendations on additional diagnostic or treatment procedures in clinical conferences and/or discussions with staff physicians. - Direct and provide oversight of the operation of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to include nurses, paramedics, paraprofessionals, administrative and ambulance personnel and pre-hospital medical management of patients. - Provide consultative advice on professional and administrative matters concerning patient care in the Emergency Department. - Make recommendations regarding changes to policies, procedures and programs needed for efficient department operations. - Provide a broad range of medical diagnosis, treatment, counseling, services and referrals to primary care and specialty clinics. Performs other duties as assigned

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
