Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years current CST experience License: New Hampshire Medical Technician Registration Certificate (can pend upon offer) Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: High proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, and Total Joints Scrubbing experience (General, Ortho, Neuro, Endo) Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Traveler must have very high proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, and total joints. This is non-negotiable. COVID vaccination encouraged but not required. This is a small department. RTO must be limited (none is best). Holiday RTO is not available. The CST will act as a member of the surgical team. The CST will primarily function in a scrubbing capacity. The CST might assist in circulating duties in the surgical suite. The CST will maintain aseptic technique while providing a quiet environment in the OR suite. The CST will share in OR suite preparation. The CST will use and maintain specialized equipment and supplies for specific surgical procedures. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer.
