Billing ManagerManages employees and activities of the Billing function.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manages the planning and direction of Billing activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements.Prepares and maintains account records and billing data, and organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.Oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.Monitors Billing work processes, procedures and expenses, and establishes programs which drive team performance toward departmental and organizational goals.Provides guidance and leadership to staff accountants.Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 additional years of relevant experience.7 years of previous experience (in addition to education requirements).Physical Requirements:Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.Benefits:At WM, each eligible employee receives a competitive total compensation package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short-term disability.
