In this role, you will manage day-to-day data center construction activities across multiple project locations. You will oversee budgets, track critical path schedules, and ensure compliance with building standards. Working remotely and on-site, you will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver successful data center projects.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
• Have 4+ years of direct contract administration experience
• Be well versed with electrical, mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, BMS / EMS, and security systems
• Have 4+ years of experience tracking pre-construction, mobilization, construction documents, permitting, commissioning, and project closeout
• Demonstrate solid technical skills, effective communication, and willingness to travel to project sites
• Be knowledgeable in construction law, business practices, and Microsoft Project applications
• Be willing to travel periodically within the U.S. and hold a valid U.S. driver's license

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only – the base salary for this position ranges from $105,400 – $189,600/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan ( ESPP ).
