Overview Lipert is relocating its Shiner and Beeville Texas locations to Seguin Texas. This position will initially be based in Shiner, TX with a targeted relocation date of September 2026. Responsibilities The welder will assemble components and sub-assemblies into specified fixtures and join or repair using GMAW (Gas–Metal–Arc Welding). Maintain a clean, organized workspace and plant proper. Observe all safety rules and policies. Perform product and process knowledge checks and report out-of-conformance situations to supervisor or Quality Auditor promptly. Rotate into different production teams as necessary to meet schedules and company goals. Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times. Set up welding equipment, including changing gas. Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment (a plus). Competencies Communication skills. Organizational skills. Initiative. Time management. Friendliness/understanding. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibility. Physical Demands The position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing throughout the day. The employee may lift and move items over 50 pounds. The role involves close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and adjustment of focus. Work may occur in various weather conditions, moderate to loud noise levels, and exposure to dust, fumes, gases, heat, cold, and wet work. Personal protective equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut-resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear will be provided where applicable. Steel-toed shoes or boots with metatarsal guards are required but not included in the salary. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time hourly position. Work days and hours are determined by production or General Manager. Travel None. Work Authorization / Security Clearance Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
