Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Rotating schedule consisting of 5x8 hour shifts and 2x12 hour shifts.

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various surgical procedures and possess strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring safety and comfort of patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during surgery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License in Maryland or Compact State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous charge experience is required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
