Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU

SCHEDULE
Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Patient ratio: 1:2

REQUIREMENTS
- Neuro ICU experience: Required
- Years of experience: 2 years preferred
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Charting system: Epic
- Core clinical skills include:
- Ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
- Central line care/management; blood product administration
- Neuro-specific: EVD/ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, post-neurosurgery care, TBI management
- Stroke care and acute CVA management
- Dysrhythmia recognition/management

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
Weekend requirement: Half of weekends per contract
Orientation/modules are completed onsite during orientation (average 4-6 hours for RN)
Applicants residing in specified counties are not eligible for this assignment
