Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, identifying impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that impact their treatment and recovery.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that adhere to physician orders, establish measurable patient goals, and monitor their progress.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and modalities in therapy sessions to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Document all patient-related information, such as evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries promptly and accurately, ensuring legal and ethical standards are met.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, providing guidance on best practices and patient care protocols.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities, contributing to departmental growth and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
