Job Description
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is critical for ensuring that surgical procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively, particularly during the night shift.

Job Details

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 4x10 Nights (10:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Sunday to Wednesday)
Weekend Requirements: Call coverage may be required; clinicians may be asked to work regular shifts on weekends to meet departmental needs.
No Call Required: Night shift roles do not necessitate taking call.
Floating: Possible floating to other operating rooms, but unlikely to float to another facility.

Responsibilities

Function as charge nurse during the night shift, overseeing operations and scheduling cases.
Prepare operating rooms for the following day if there are no cases scheduled.
Focus on timely case starts to enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
Active compact nursing license required.
Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory; CNOR certification is preferred.
Prior travel experience is essential; candidates without travel experience will not be considered.
Experience in scheduling OR cases is necessary.
Knowledgeable, organized, and able to function independently is a must.

Clinical Experience

Experience with robotics, general, urology, gynecology, bariatric, minor vascular, plastics, and thoracic cases.
Must have independent experience with thoracic and vascular procedures.
