Position: Licensed Care Specialist

Location: Centennial Elementary

Hours: 6.75 hours/day - 8:45 am to 4:00 pm

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Wage: $29.92 per hour or $31.92 per hour if licensed RN

Qualifications

Must be a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) with the State of Minnesota. Must have CPR/BLS certification. Ability to lift/move/push/pull as required by the assignment. Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development. Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships. Must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

Direct Care, Medication Administration, Maintenance and updating of Student Health Files/Immunizations, Health Screenings, Implementation of Procedures under the direction/delegation of the Licensed School Nurse.
