Business Development & Community Engagement Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a warm, organized, proactive, and community-oriented individual to serve as the face of our growing Apopka office while helping us strengthen relationships throughout Central Florida’s immigrant communities. This is not a traditional receptionist or paralegal role. Instead, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys: Building relationships Connecting with people and organizations Community outreach and engagement Helping mission-driven organizations grow Working independently with professionalism and initiative The person in this role will help increase our visibility in the community, strengthen referral relationships, support client engagement efforts, and maintain a welcoming in-person office presence as our Florida office continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Community Outreach & Relationship Building Represent Casas Immigration at community events, churches, schools, nonprofits, and local organizations Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, referral partners, and organizations serving immigrant communities Assist with outreach initiatives, educational workshops, and community engagement efforts Identify opportunities to increase awareness of the firm and strengthen community trust Client Engagement & Office Presence Serve as a welcoming and professional in-person presence at the Apopka office during scheduled office hours Assist with occasional client document drop-offs and in-person support needs Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment Assist with client follow-up and intake coordination as needed Business Development & Administrative Support Track outreach efforts, community contacts, and engagement activities Assist with social media content, community communications, and outreach coordination Help identify opportunities to strengthen the firm’s visibility and long-term growth in Central Florida Provide light administrative and operational support as needed Qualifications / You May Be a Great Fit If You Are warm, personable, and professional Enjoy building genuine relationships with people from diverse backgrounds Are highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated Can work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Have experience in community outreach, client relations, hospitality, nonprofit work, education, sales, or business development Are passionate about immigrant communities and advocacy Are comfortable attending occasional evening or weekend community events Speak Spanish fluently (required) Important Note About This Role Because our Apopka office is still growing, this role is best suited for someone who is comfortable balancing: Independent office work Community engagement and outreach Relationship-building Client interaction Growth-focused initiatives This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping build something meaningful from the ground up.
