Assistant Property Manager

Location: Redding, CA Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 hours per week Housing: Not provided We're currently seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to help oversee an 180-unit apartment community in Redding, CA. Experience in affordable housing programs such as RD, HUD, or LIHTC is strongly preferred. What You'll Do As the Assistant Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the community while ensuring residents receive excellent service and the property is maintained to AWI's high standards. Managing all aspects of the assigned property's daily operations Processing applications, screening applicants, and verifying landlord references Preparing leases, house rules, and required documentation Managing tenant certifications and re-certifications Conducting move-ins and move-outs Collecting rent and security deposits Enforcing lease agreements and community policies Coordinating maintenance and ensuring property standards are met Maintaining strong curb appeal and property presentation Marketing and advertising vacant units to attract qualified residents Responding appropriately to emergency situations Following company policies and procedures What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is organized, dependable, and committed to creating a positive living environment for residents.
