Primary Skills:

• Candidate must have strong understanding of core java 8, threading, generics, garbage collection, serialization etc
• Candidate must have strong understanding and hands on experience of spring and other related frameworks including bean dependencies and injection, AOP, security, authentication, authorization etc
• Candidate must have hands on experience in building RESTFul APIs with different req/res types
• Candidate must have hands on experience in deploying and integrating REST APIs with web/mobile clients and should be well aware of the protocols, headers, request, security aspects of integration with clients
• Candidate must have hands on experience on build/deploy tools/configuration such as maven, jenkins, etc
• Candidate must have prior experience in resolving performance issues and should know how to go about optimizing APIs via code, configuration, caching or whatever method suitable
• Candidate must have aptitude/experience of analyzing and debugging complex production issues using tools such as splunk, dynatrace and sometimes UNIX commands
• Candidate must have understanding of web/app server setup/configurations in order to support issues across multiple dev, test and production environments.
