Hospitality Specialist

About the Company National Life Group operates a 12‑room, New England‑style Bed & Breakfast at its Vermont campus, providing hospitality services to guests and small events. Position Summary The Hospitality Specialist works part‑time (up to 24 hours per week) in the Guest House, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, excellent customer service, and guest satisfaction. A flexible schedule that includes evenings, overnight, and occasional weekends is required. Key Responsibilities Provide white‑glove service to guests. Clean and organize accommodations, rooms, and public spaces to high standards. Assist with breakfast preparation and other duties as assigned. Maintain and promote National Life and Guest House safety standards and protocols. Communicate timely with supervisors about maintenance needs, supplies, or updates. Perform additional duties as required. Become CPR trained (optional). Qualifications and Experience Previous hospitality experience preferred; similar roles acceptable. Flexible schedule for nights, evenings, days, and some weekends. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary systems. Positive attitude and self‑motivation. Experience in housekeeping and basic breakfast preparation. High level of independence and problem‑solving skills. Professional appearance and attention to detail. Physical ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds. Education and Licensing Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. AI Usage Expectations Leverage approved AI tools to improve work efficiency and quality. Stay curious and open to new AI‑enabled workflows. Exercise sound judgment when reviewing AI‑generated content. Adhere to the company’s AI guiding principles, respecting confidentiality, data privacy, and intellectual property. Base Pay Range Hourly: $15 – $22 USD Additional Compensation and Benefits Benefits include medical, financial, and other offerings (401(k), paid time off, and incentive programs) subject to eligibility.
