Licensed Practical Nurse (PRN) - Rising Sun, MD 21911

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, professional care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and dedicated to supporting individuals with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

Record patient histories and vital signs (BP, temperature, heart rate, etc.)
Monitor and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications, injections, wound care, and assist with basic medical procedures
Support daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and hygiene
Collect samples for lab testing
Provide emotional support to patients and families
Maintain accurate charts and communication with healthcare team

Requirements:

Valid LPN license
Proven experience in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of hospital procedures, medical terminology, and confidentiality standards
Physical stamina and emotional resilience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with MS Office and data entry
