Join our dynamic reagent operations team where you will play a crucial role in formulating, filling, and testing a variety of chemical and biological reagent products. You will be responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of reagent components and instruments. Additionally, you will conduct testing on solutions, including pH, conductivity, and density, to ensure they meet production and process specifications. The role also involves raw material testing using advanced equipment such as HPLC and ICP.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements.
• Independently execute work involving formulation, filling, testing, and packaging of reagents.
• Apply analytical skills and scientific methods to perform daily tasks effectively.
• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot reagent components and instruments.
• Conduct testing on solutions, including pH, conductivity, and density, to ensure adherence to production and process specifications.
• Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other regulatory standards.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• At least 3 months of laboratory experience (academic experience is acceptable).
• Ability to articulate previous experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HPLC and ICP for raw material testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in a large, chemistry-based main lab, emphasizing the process of making calibrators and following SOPs. Tasks include pipetting, running functional tests on analytical equipment, lab work, and computer-based data analysis to ensure specifications are met. The position requires highly independent work. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with a flexible start time between 5:00 AM and 7:45 AM for an 8-hour shift. The location features a campus on Lake Hazeltine with walking trails, and it is conveniently situated near central Chaska, shops, and restaurants, just a 25-minute drive from downtown Minneapolis. Employee appreciation events are held throughout the year.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.58 - $25.58/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Chaska,MN.
