Boutique transactional practice in strong growth mode seeks to hire a senior TAX attorney to represent clients with a wide range of sophisticated tax concerns and transactional matters. Responsibilities: The role includes handling a variety of commercial tax matters as a the go to tax lawyer for the firm. Work might involve: tax credit, tax credit financing, partnership tax, corporate acquisitions, finance documents and equity partnership agreements. Experience with tax advantages, real estate development, low income tax credit syndication experience could be attractive. Required Experience : Comfortable experience listed in the responsibility section listed above.
Experience Level: Seasoned lawyer with enough experience listed in the responsibility section listed above to know what you are doing and know your resources.
*Will consider candidates from law firm, corporate or public accounting experience. Educational/Credentials : An LLM in Tax or CPA is preferred not necessary Traits : Strong interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving ability, sense of urgency, client service oriented, and pride in work/excellence.
