Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents to identify their unique needs, providing a foundation for effective treatment plans. \n
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions that address emotional challenges commonly faced by the elderly, including grief, anxiety, and depressive disorders. \n
- Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring all aspects of the resident's health and well-being are considered. \n
- Educate families and staff on best practices for supporting the emotional health of seniors, helping to enhance the overall care environment. \n
- Provide grief and loss counseling, offering critical support for residents and their families experiencing end-of-life transitions. \n
- Introduce and manage cognitive stimulation programs aimed at maintaining and improving mental acuity among older adults. \n
The primary focus of this role is to serve elderly individuals facing age-related emotional and psychological challenges.
