ICU Registered Nurse - Critical Care

About the Opportunity


She Recruits is representing a well-established hospital seeking a committed and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join their critical care team. This is an ideal role for an experienced ICU or progressive care nurse who thrives in high-acuity environments and values teamwork, patient advocacy, and evidence-based practice.

As a key member of the Intensive Care Unit, you'll provide life-sustaining care to patients with complex medical conditions, while ensuring their dignity, comfort, and safety throughout treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Monitor patients' physiological and psychosocial responses, taking appropriate clinical action as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strict patient privacy standards
• Serve as a patient and family advocate, ensuring compassionate communication and informed decision-making
• Collaborate in quality improvement initiatives to advance care standards and outcomes
• Deliver exceptional service to patients, families, and internal team members
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance and a commitment to dependable care delivery
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact license)
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required (or 2 years of PCU experience strongly considered)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of employment

Compensation & Incentives

• Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
• Night Shift Differential: +$4.25/hour
• Weekend Differential: +$2.00/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for qualified candidates
• Relocation Assistance: Considered on a case-by-case basis
