Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or relevant accrediting body. Current, active, and unencumbered Physical Therapist license for the state of Alabama or ability to obtain prior to the assignment start. Current CPR certification. Minimum 2–3 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred. Experience providing skilled physical therapy in home health settings preferred, including home visits and environment evaluation. Experience supervising or delegating to PTAs and home health aides preferred. Ability to perform patient evaluations, develop and update treatment plans, document patient progress, and communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Proficiency with basic computer functions, electronic health records, email, and online training platforms. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance for home visits. Assignment Details Facility Type: Home Health. Shift Name: Days. Schedule: 5x8 days. Job Type: Travel, temporary help placement. Primary Duties Perform patient evaluations. Provide skilled PT according to physician orders. Supervise PTAs and home health aides as assigned. Participate in plan-of-care development and patient education.
