Job Title: Certified OR Tech/Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must possess a valid compact license Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, ASATT Must-Have: Travel experience required Description: Seeking a Certified OR Tech/Surgical Tech (CST) for a travel assignment. The position requires floating between units and involves on-call duties. Weekend shifts are mandatory as needed by department requirements. Expect a patient ratio of 1:1. Call requirements include 16 hours of weekday call every 4 weeks and 24 hours of weekend call every 4 weeks. Candidates must be certified as a surgical technologist or military trained. Ideal candidates will have broad knowledge of surgical equipment. Experience with various surgical procedures, including abdominal surgeries, orthopedic procedures, and robotic surgeries, is preferred. This role supports a diverse range of surgical specialties, focusing on advanced cases. Candidates should be prepared for potential floating between nearby facilities during the assignment. References will be required covering recent work experience within the past 3 years. Please indicate any previous experience working in similar settings. Flexible scheduling and attendance on holidays are expected.
