Shady Grove Medical Center - Behavioral Health seeks to hire a Call Specialist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.


As the Call Specialist, you will:
• Receives all incoming phone calls and on line inquiries from persons and providers requesting acute and outpatient clinical services
• Maintains an accurate census in the office to advise referral sources of the bed availability across the division
• Schedules clinical evaluations and documents when appointments are kept or missed
• Accurately maintains call tracking database
• Maintains a high level of world class customer service/professionalism to a wide range of customers
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications include:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, human services, or any closely related field
• At least one year experience in social services field
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Day
• Weekend Requirements: None
• Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range:
$18.80 - $24.18
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Tobacco and Drug Statement

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
