Maintenance Tech - 3rd Shift

VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Maintenance Technician for a leading organization in Belen, NM 

This is a Full Time Temp to Hire Opportunity 

Schedules available are 11:00pm - 7:30 am Training is done on 1st shift that is Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30 pm for approximately 6 weeks

Pay for this position is $23 - $28 DOE

As a maintenance technician you will: 

• Determine required machine adjustments by reading job specifications.
• Work on equipment stoppages, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical.
• Perform routine start-up/shutdown of the equipment.
• Perform routine changeovers on equipment.
• Maintain inventory of assembly parts, tools and supplies for maintenance department.
• QC-ensure that all products meet the company's quality specifications.
• Work with production engineers in trouble shooting issues related to equipment performance. 
• Assist production engineers in implementing technical corrective actions, based on customer complaints.
• Follow all cGMP rules.
• Monitor production machine operation to identify malfunctions.
• Maintain maintenance log for all equipment.
• Ensure participation and cooperation in company-implemented ESHA programs.

Maintenance technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration: 

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of applicable trade school, college, 6 years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination. 
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• General knowledge of hand & power tools.
• Advanced computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite).
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Able to work varied work hours.
• Self-starter and able to make fast and accurate decisions.
• Results oriented with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously. 
• Able to lift up to 50lbs. on your own.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
