About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years License: Active state RN license or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: EPIC experience Experience with stable chronic ventilators Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment IV start preferred Travel experience preferred Description: Winter jobs available for 13- or 18-week contracts. Must be available to work at minimum every other holiday. Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6. Positions may require working 36 or 48 hours weekly. For 48-hour contracts, overtime is paid out after 48 hours. Candidates must have experience with chronic ventilators. Floating may be required within specialty clusters. Assignments may vary based on the patient acuity and census. Nurses should be prepared to float to other units as needed. All travelers must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. The organization reserves the right to cancel shifts due to low census. Employees are not eligible for internal incentives. Requested time off should be submitted with the application. Maximum of 14 days off allowed per contract. References are not required for submission. Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions. Charting system experience with EPIC is required for all inpatient nurses. Candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be accepted. No schedule requests will be negotiated after an offer is made.
