About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, Post-Partum experience required License: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching for patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of those solutions.
