Title: ECHO/VASCULAR ultrasound technologist
Job description:
Responsibility
Per Diem by case. Echocardiograph Technologist is responsible for acquiring and interpreting m-mode, 2-D, pulse and continuous Doppler and color Doppler echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, as well as completing echo worksheets and performing all necessary calculations in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following aseptic techniques.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree preferred
Experience Requirements
At least 3 years as an Echocardiographer preferred
Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable)
BLS certification
RDCS required
Qualifications
- Certification as an Echo Technologist
- Proven experience in cardiology or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and cardiac anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
