We are currently seeking a Geographical Information System (GIS) Technician for a position offering $21.00 per hour, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key details and requirements for the role include: - Responsibilities: Maintain and update the GIS database and GPS coordinates; assist county divisions with utility location, emergency repairs, and shut downs; verify the accuracy of site plans and legal descriptions; operate Trimble Pro XRS GPS equipment; and utilize Pathfinder Office software.- Requirements: A valid State of Florida Driver's License, clear background and drug screenings, full English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking), and the ability to read and interpret engineering/construction drawings.
