What?WillYouDo: Hours of Operation: Monday: 8-7 Tuesday: 8-7 Wednesday: 8-7 Thursday: 8-7 Friday: 8-5 Saturday (1st, 2nd 3rd, and 4th) 8-12 Hours: Shifts are usually 8.5 hours with a 30 minute unpaid lunch 5 days a week or, if working a weekend, 9.5 hours four days a week with one weekday off. Hours are subject to change to meet the needs of the clinicians and practices. Shifts range from: 730-4, 8-430, 830-5, 1030-7 (not working a weekend) or 730-5, 8-530, 830-6, 930-7 (working a weekend) As a Patient Service Representative (PSR) , you’ll play a vital role on the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day. As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will: Patient Services: Provides efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or who telephone or visit in person to request appointments or information on tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals, and other matters. Billing Services: Ensures entry at time of service of billing information on the patient and payer and accurate follow-up on missing information. Medical Record Services: Upholds standards of the practice and of the medical group for accurate and timely medical records. Where You Will Work: Locations: Morton Grove and travel to addition locations include: AMG-Glenview at 1412 Waukegan Rd. Glenview IL 60025 Glenview weekends include Saturday (first and second): 8-12 and AMG-Lincolnwood at 6540 N. Lincoln Ave Lincolnwood IL 60712 Lincolnwood weekends include Saturday (2nd and 3rd) 8-12 and Sunday (1st and 4th) 8-12 We are?Looking For: Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. One to two years related customer service experience Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to function in a high volume, multiple-task environment,and inacrowdedor closely sharedworkspace. Exposure to ill patients. Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers. Mustlift upto 35 pounds without help.For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable toassistwith the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
