Qualifications/Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Proven expertise in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Competence in monitoring moderate sedation, pre- and post-procedure patient care
• Strong IV access skills and familiarity with sterile technique
• Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but not essential

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Assess, plan, and implement care for patients undergoing IR procedures
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient status throughout procedures
• Quickly respond to patient needs and potential emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to provide optimal patient-centered care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Provide thorough education and support for patients and families pre- and post-procedure
