Manufacturing Engineer

Cytiva, part of Danaher, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement in a life-sciences production environment. The role focuses on process optimization, quality assurance, equipment reliability, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated manufacturing setting located in Hauppauge, New York.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in manufacturing processes and serve as technical subject matter expert for operations and quality teams
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve manufacturing challenges
- Analyze process performance and design improvements to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support qualification, validation, and change management activities
- Provide technical leadership during troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical aptitude and structured problem-solving skills for complex manufacturing challenges
- Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis, metrics, and process performance improvement
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, CAPA processes, and statistical process control methods
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments with cGMP or ISO 9001 quality systems
