Senior Principal - Insurance

Senior Principal Insurance About the Role The applicant should have experience in advising Insurance client executives, both business and IT, and experience leading teams for digital transformation, platform modernization programs, product development and internal/external consulting engagements. Industry and Product Experience Property and Casualty Insurance Product experience: Personal Lines (Vehicle/Auto, Motor Cycle, Watercraft, Fire); Property Lines (Home, renters, Condo, etc.); Commercial Lines (Property, Auto, Marine, General Liability, Business Insurance, Workers Compensation, Farm) Functional Areas – Product development, Product Consolidation, P&C Claims Management, and Distribution Management Insurance Brokerage – Submission Management, Carrier Management, Risk Management Programs, Policy renewals, Reinsurance, Claims and TPA Latest trends and disruptive innovations in Insurance space like Embedded insurance, Uberization of Agency Models, Touchless claims, Virtual Agents, etc. Digital Transformation Experience with platform implementations, legacy transformation, and digitization of services across the P&C value chain. Business Operations Problem identification, analysis, and recommendation – analysis of current state, root cause analysis, developing insights, identifying solutions, and designing future state. Industry Platforms Experience with P&C platforms like Guidewire, DuckCreek, Majesco, EIS, Applied Systems, etc. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience with 5 years of comparable consulting services. Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship. Strategic mindset and ability to lead and develop other project managers. Multitask, engage with stakeholders, plan effectively, and consistently achieve operational goals. Act as a liaison and spokesperson for the program. Excellent relationship‑building abilities. Ability to identify program risk and develop mitigation strategies, with program‑level financial acumen. Ability to collaborate with resources in a global delivery model. Experience leading programs using Agile and/or hybrid methodologies. Preferred Qualifications 9+ years combined Manufacturing Industry experience with Management Consulting Services. Minimum 2 years of business development experience, including identification of leads and opportunities, pre‑sales and post‑sales support, and client relationship management. MBA or equivalent advanced degree; industry‑related certification preferred. Additional Consulting Responsibilities Client Relationship and Development – Represent Infosys to client; lead team interactions; handle senior client interactions, problems, escalations; build senior client relationships that can be leveraged to sell additional work. Client Delivery – Manage complex client delivery programs; respond well to delivery challenges; anticipate client needs and find solutions. Value and Expertise – Establish clear platform, build knowledge, IP and team to deliver platform offerings; mentor and teach others; establish national‑level reputation as internal expert. People Development and Learning – Coach project team members and counselees on both soft and hard skills; identify and address training needs; support formal and informal training programs. Leadership and Firm Development – Demonstrate excellent project leadership; set objectives, monitor performance, provide feedback; balance firm and team priorities; lead innovation; identify opportunities; lead design and realization; play key role in practice or firm‑level initiatives; take responsibility for firm building deliverables. Sales – Manage pursuit and proposal work; raise decisions to partner; bring new leads; open conversations that lead to revenue; present effectively in oral and sales meetings.
