Inside Sales Representative

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience, plus performance incentives Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm | Seasonal Saturday hours 8:00am - 12:00pm Tri-State Bobcat is a trusted provider of compact construction equipment, parts, and service. As we continue to grow our retail and consumer equipment business in Burnsville, we're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to take ownership of our retail showroom while driving sales of Toro and other outdoor power equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, has a passion for outdoor power equipment, and wants to play a key role in growing a retail business. Beyond sales, you'll be responsible for creating an inviting showroom, maintaining an attractive merchandise presentation, and promoting our Toro product line through social media and local marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary sales representative for Toro and other consumer outdoor power equipment Assist walk-in, phone, and online customers with product selection, pricing, financing, and availability Guide customers through the sales process while building lasting relationships and earning repeat business Own the appearance and merchandising of the Toro showroom, ensuring displays are organized, fully stocked, and seasonally relevant Coordinate product placement, promotional displays, signage, and retail inventory presentation Manage and grow the Burnsville location's Toro Facebook presence by creating engaging content highlighting inventory, promotions, customer deliveries, seasonal tips, and dealership events Generate and follow up on sales leads, quotes, and customer inquiries Maintain strong product knowledge across Toro and related equipment lines Educate customers on product features, operation, maintenance, and available accessories Identify opportunities to upsell Tri-State Bobcat's full line of products and services Coordinate with the parts and service departments to ensure an outstanding customer experience Process sales transactions accurately, including financing and required documentation What We're Looking For 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience, preferably in equipment, dealership, or outdoor power equipment sales Experience with Toro, STIHL, or similar outdoor power equipment Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Comfortable working toward sales goals and closing sales Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn technical product information Comfortable creating content and managing business social media, particularly Facebook Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities Experience using computers, point-of-sale systems, or CRM software 401(k) with company match Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization If you're passionate about outdoor power equipment, enjoy connecting with customers, and want to make a meaningful impact by growing our retail business, we'd love to hear from you.
