Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Georgetown, Texas location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across diverse patient populations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information and process billing data accurately and timely
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain specimen information logs
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical or hospital environment (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating Saturdays as needed
