Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and develop personalized treatment approaches
• Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and families through therapeutic expectations, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress while adhering to facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a recognized equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience strongly preferred
