Health Room Nurse

The job of the Health Room Nurse is to implement assigned and delegated portions of the school health program, including but not limited to clerical, first-aid and illness care functions under the direction of the building principal and the certified school nurse.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure as a nurse from the state of Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Experience working as a school nurse or pediatric nurse preferred.
• Ability to perform general clerical skills, to include PC proficiency, access electronic medical records, management and organizational skills.
• Ability to know when to seek the advice of certified school nurse and/or administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Criminal Record, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
• RN license preferred.
