What You'll Do as a Machinery Assembler: Assemble machinery and equipment using hand and power tools Read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately Align and fit components to meet required measurements and tolerances Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify accuracy Inspect completed assemblies and report quality concerns or damaged parts Move and position materials and equipment safely throughout the work area Perform light fabrication, welding, machining, and preventative maintenance tasks as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Work closely with team members to meet production and quality goals Assist with troubleshooting assembly issues and improving production processes Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards Skills and Experience Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Ability to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/16" Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, levels, and measuring gauges Basic shop math skills, including fractions and decimal conversions Ability to work independently and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in varying temperatures within a production setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license required We don't hire temps, we hire TEAMMATES!
