Registered Nurse (RN) SNF/LTC | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking for consistent hours, a day-shift schedule, and the possibility of extending beyond the initial contract.

Assignment Details

  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Dates: September 27 December 26, 2026
  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Schedule: 5:45 AM 6:15 PM
  • Hours: 3648 hours per week
  • Housing: Provided at no cost to the traveler

RN Responsibilities

The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations. General responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents based on individualized care plans
  • Assess residents and monitor for changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Perform ongoing nursing assessments and document findings
  • Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall resident status
  • Communicate changes in condition to physicians, advanced practice providers, and other members of the healthcare team as appropriate
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
  • Provide wound care and other treatments as ordered
  • Coordinate resident care with CNAs, LPNs/LVNs, therapy staff, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Supervise and support nursing assistants and other assigned staff
  • Respond appropriately to resident emergencies and changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary planning as needed
  • Educate residents and families regarding care, medications, treatments, and health needs
  • Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life
  • Follow infection prevention, medication safety, and facility protocols
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Previous SNF/LTC experience preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the facility
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
  • Reliable and compassionate approach to resident care
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and the required weekly hours

Housing Provided

Housing is provided at no cost to the traveler.

The housing consists of two separate apartments:

  • Each apartment has 34 private bedrooms with locking doors
  • Travelers share the common living area and bathroom
  • Housing is not co-ed
  • One apartment is designated for female travelers and the other for male travelers
  • There is no housing charge to the traveler
  • A $250 refundable cleaning deposit is required
  • The deposit is returned as long as the apartment is left in good condition at the end of the assignment
