You'll work with a diverse fleet of diesel buses, gas buses, and even a few minivans, supporting the transportation needs of local students and families. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance services such as fluid and filter changes, greasing, and inspections. Conduct basic repairs and troubleshooting to ensure buses operate safely and efficiently. Assist senior mechanics with more complex repairs, gaining valuable skills and experience. Use your toolbox and hand tools to complete work accurately, following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications. Maintain consistent attendance and work safely, using all required PPE. Must-Have Qualifications Valid driver’s license At least 3 years of mechanic experience or recent graduation from a trade school Basic hand tools and toolbox Ability to perform standard maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs Positive attitude and willingness to learn Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience working on heavy equipment or diesel vehicles Ability to assist higher-level mechanics and perform repairs under supervision Excellent attendance and safety record Compensation & Benefits Pay rate: $28 - $32 per hour Shift: 9 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday Benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Paid holidays and vacation Annual allowances for boots and prescription safety glasses Discount programs on cell phone plans, cars, and more through Perk Spot #J-18808-Ljbffr LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions, LLC
