Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required
• Valid teaching certification, with ESL or English as a Second Language endorsement
• Experience in a general education or ESL teaching role preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with faculty, students, and families
• Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to supporting English language learners of varying abilities
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver effective ESL instruction to students at varying levels of language proficiency
• Develop lesson plans that integrate language skills and meet curriculum standards
• Assess student progress and tailor instruction to promote growth and confidence
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support students’ overall academic success
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel safe to participate
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to coordinate support strategies
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the ongoing development of ESL programming
