Project Manager

Engineering Project ManagerMust have the ability to read and interpret: Construction Documents, Materials and Codes, Site Requirements, Building Engineering and Designs for Architectural, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural Engineering and other similar subjects.Must be able to review, track and verify project related change orders and implement corrections to eliminate reoccurring change orders.Must be self-driven and motivated, possess excellent oral and written communication skills and able to Multi-Task projects, with different milestones and deadlines, and have a Strong attention to detail.Must be able to provide in-house technical support and general problem solving while effectively managing work performed by specific architects, vendors and contractors relating to remodel, takeover and special project construction documents to specific timelines.Must be able to assist in the training of AutoCAD specialist.Must effectively manage and communicate changes to appropriate internal and external customers.Must effectively and promptly respond to requests made by landlords, contractors, vendors, governing authorities, etc.Must be able to assist in design of Engineering concepts and fixture plan layouts, build scope of work (SOW) and set deadlines.Must be driven to actively seek to improve accuracy, productivity and effectiveness of all Engineering processes. Value engineer the plans and specifications to lower construction cost while keeping quality and consistency across the banners.Must keep current on software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Virtual Premise and Food Lion website) training; and keep current on code revisions to effectively perform assigned work.Must be able to perform necessary clerical duties based on departmental needs, research, and sort; assemble data and clearly present findings to management through Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.Project management, conceptual design, Autocad, Construction, EngineeringProject management, conceptual design, AutocadMust have project management experience and able to handle multiple projects at once.Must be able to review construction documents, have good planning, organizing, and documenting, creative technical problem solving and have strong reasoning and communication skills.Working knowledge of the retail environment a plus.Must be team oriented.Intermediate LevelThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC.The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $44.23/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
