Health Services Assistant

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Instruction and with supervision from the Principal and School Nurse, provide a variety of health services for ill or injured students; assist in the preliminary evaluation and documentation of student health conditions and complaints; under the training and supervision of credential health personnel, perform specialized physical health care procedures for general education and special education students; perform routine clerical duties as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

In addition to the documents below, information for three Professional References must be provided. Professional References MUST be people who worked as your Supervisor, Manager, or HR Personnel. Professional References CANNOT be friends, family, family friends, or coworkers.

• Certification (Transcripts showing completion of an AA degree OR 48 completed semester college units OR a copy of a passing certification for the Para Educator Exam.)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Must be held & not expiring in the next 6 months)
• Driver's License Copy (Driver's License or CA ID Card)
• Letter of Introduction
• Proof of HS Graduation (Proof of High School graduation or GED)
• Resume
