This position plays an essential role in supporting our teachers, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and helping ensure our school runs smoothly each day. Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Full-Time Position Responsibilities Kitchen & Food Preparation Wash, prepare, and cut fresh fruit for morning and afternoon snacks Clean and sanitize snack bins daily Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment Heat and distribute lunches during scheduled lunch times Complete required Food Handlers course and maintain food safety standards School Operations & Organization Maintain the school supply closet Keep accurate records of supplies needed for ordering Distribute supplies to teachers as requested Ensure shared spaces are clean and organized Classroom Support Assist in classrooms as needed Provide bathroom breaks for teachers Help relieve teachers for scheduled lunch breaks Support staff and students throughout the building wherever assistance is needed Training & Compliance Complete all required trainings for working in a licensed childcare facility, including food handling certification Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced school environment Team-oriented and dependable Comfortable working around young children Prior experience in a school or childcare setting preferred (but not required) Benefits for Full-Time Employees Paid Time Off (PTO) Health and Dental Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Option Paid training and professional development Supportive and positive work environment Compensation: $18.00 per hour This Is Your Moment The joy of childhood comes from those bright sparks of discovery -- moments that delight and surprise us.
