Personal Care Attendant

$14 - $19 per hour

University Home Care

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to join our team in Inkster, MI. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
Provide mobility support including transferring and positioning
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well being
Adhere to all safety and confidentiality standards

Requirements

Prior experience in personal care or a related field is an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to client care
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus
