Position Type Part-Time/Full-Time Pay Rate $14.00/hour Position Summary As a Dish Technician at Mesero, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will also play a role in prepping items to assist the chef and prep team, working closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, playing a key role in maintaining the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to Mesero’s cleanliness standards. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dish area, ensuring it is fully stocked with cleaning supplies. Ensure proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste, following all sanitation and safety procedures. Assist kitchen staff by providing clean kitchen equipment and ensuring all items are returned to the appropriate stations. Help with cleaning kitchen floors, countertops, and food preparation areas as needed. Ensure that all health and safety standards are met, including proper food handling and storage procedures. Report any maintenance or repair issues with kitchen equipment to management. Assist with setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up kitchen stations before and after shifts. Qualifications Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Up-to-date certifications required by state regulations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
