Facilities Custodian Professional Location: Birmingham, AL Contract- 6 Months Client- Alabama Power Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Facilities Custodian Professional to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment across our buildings and grounds. This role involves a variety of janitorial, minor maintenance, and groundskeeping duties, contributing to the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing as needed Empty and clean trash receptacles; collect and sort recyclables Clean, sanitize, and restock supplies in restrooms Service and maintain custodial equipment Perform minor repairs to buildings, furniture, and equipment Identify and report safety, sanitary, and fire hazards Lock/unlock doors, windows, and gates as needed Keep grounds areas clean and orderly Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Previous custodial or groundskeeping experience preferred Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Physically able to bend, squat, kneel, twist , and climb ladders Familiar with custodial tools, techniques, materials, and equipment care Comfortable working from heights or elevated surfaces when needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
