Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,281–$2,412 per week Contract duration: 6 weeks Shift: 3x12 nights Start date: 09/10/2026 Inpatient Med/Surg Tele unit 1-day orientation; Epic EMR and MAK medication system used on assignment Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care on a Med Surg Tele unit, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention for adult patients Administer medications and IV therapy; operate IV pumps; perform bladder scans and glucose monitoring; draw blood as needed Document in EPIC, maintain accurate care plans, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team Collaborate with CNAs/PCTs, unit clerk, and other staff to ensure safe, effective patient care and timely handoffs Respond to clinical changes, implement escalation workflows, and provide support during ED hold scenarios Support discharge planning and patient education; coordinate with the broader care team for smooth transitions Requirements Current New York Registered Nurse license BLS certification (AHA) required NIHSS required prior to starting Epic experience within the past 2 years Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; 1 year in Med Surg Tele preferred CMSRN certification preferred Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; willingness to float to other tele units as needed Benefits and Support 1-day orientation EPIC EMR and MAK medication system training and support Assignment coordination and onboarding assistance Continued professional support from the staffing team and unit leadership Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
