Role Overview Retail Shift Manager (Lead Pawn Broker) – responsible for leading a retail pawn store, providing customer service, processing loans and extensions, managing store operations, and coaching team members. Responsibilities Complete the initial 5‑week paid training program and earn a $.50 raise to transition to Lead Pawnbroker. Enhance leadership skills through structured training programs. Follow the career path and apply for Store Manager in Training, including a 12‑week program. Process loans and extensions and negotiate satisfactory terms with customers. Perform opening and closing store procedures. Supervise, coach, and mentor store team members. Provide outstanding customer service and promote sales to build relationships. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of supervisory, key holder, or team/shift lead experience. Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Strong leadership, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of pawn items a plus. Sales background a plus; bilingual a plus.
