Title
Registered Nurse - PCU/Telemetry

Schedule
Staffing ratios: 1:4 (days, nights, weekends)
Orientation: 36 hours

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Valid compact or state license required at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Some ER experience in work history (ER observation/holding or Med/Surg/Telemetry acceptable)
- Experience with telemetry / dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Documentation experience: EPIC (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a stepdown/PCU setting with a focus on telemetry
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
- Administer medications and manage intravenous protocols, including insulin and heparin titration
- Perform tracheostomy care and non-invasive airway management
- Manage patients with renal failure and assist in pre/post hemodialysis care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Compliance / Notes
- Urgent fingerprinting required for hires in the state; strict compliance deadline applies
- Return-to-office policy required with submission
