Paid Media Intern Seniority Level: Entry Industry: Marketing, Advertising Employment Type: 3-Month Internship Location: NYC Job Description M+C Saatchi Performance is looking for a paid media intern to join our account team. The account team manages the agency’s relationship with key clients and supports the implementation, maintenance and delivery of paid media campaigns across search, social, programmatic and display channels. This entry‑level position offers a foundational experience in performance media. What You’ll be Responsible For Working collaboratively with internal teams (Search, Social, Programmatic, Data, Creative) to deliver digital media campaigns. Supporting the account team with campaign reporting via Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools. Assisting with the optimization, efficient spending and pacing of client media budgets. Maintaining and managing campaign performance, tracking, and setup. Supporting day‑to‑day management of tech partners such as third‑party measurement providers. Maintaining accurate and organized documentation. Attending relevant training sessions, webinars, and internal resource sessions. Communicating and building relationships with media partners. Analyzing campaign data to make recommendations to external and internal partners. Working with Ad Ops or measurement partners to deliver trafficking links. Updating budget pacing documents and ensuring campaigns are measured based on client KPIs. Identifying and troubleshooting data discrepancies and tracking issues. Reconciling monthly campaign spends. Areas You Will Learn About Digital marketing strategy development and media planning. Performance analysis and reporting for actionable insights. Competitive market research and trend analysis. Campaign optimization and tactical budget reallocation. Liaising with media vendors and developing media proposals. Influencer marketing and UGC planning. Goal setting for performance marketing campaigns. Digital marketing measurement, attribution and tracking. Ad planning and buying methodologies across ad networks, programmatic and social platforms. What You’ll Bring Graduate with a degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel) and Google Workspace. Active social media user with understanding of platform trends and audience behaviors. Self‑starter able to work independently with problem‑solving skills. Highly numerate and comfortable with data analysis. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet frequent deadlines. Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Team player with a collaborative and positive attitude. Desire to work in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven industry. Appetite to learn about digital media channels. What You’ll Get Paid internship at $21/hour, 4.5 days a week with half days on Friday. Flexible work arrangements (combining on‑site and remote work); two days per week required in the NY office.
