Join our team to sell the best beer and cider in the world!The Field Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling our products both locally and nationwide. Expected to meet and exceed sales goals in order to put a Resurgence, Blackbird Cider, and Brightside Vibes in the hands of every consumer. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have prior experience in the beverage industry, and excels working autonomously. We seek a talented, passionate salesperson ready to make an impact on our business and represent our portfolio of brands. This individual works primarily in the field (approx. 70%) and may have potential for future leadership opportunities.Compensation: This is a full-time position and the compensation is a base salary plus bonus structure. Starting base pay: $45,000 - $60,000 based on education/experience/interview. Annual bonus potential with quarterly payouts.Benefits include:paid holidaysemployer contribution to health insurance401k with company match (based on eligibility)dental insurance optiontravel allowancecompany phone or phone allowancebeer!What you'll be doing:Sells and represents the entire portfolio of Resurgence Brewing, BlackBird CiderWorks, and Brightside Vibes.Manages all aspects of sales, customer service, retailer support, and distributor management of the territory or market outlined.Performs sales calls; manages the call frequency and route organization.Builds relationships and collaborates with wholesale and distributor teams/partners to achieve goals.Identifies new major accounts and develops plan to establish business.Works independently to focus on developing new accounts from target lists.Maintains and improves key metrics (KPIs) volume, distribution, and placements made.Maintains focus on selling products and/or upgrading the number of products in retail accounts (bars, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores).Provides exceptional customer service to all clients/client contacts.Conducts follow-up calls and in-person visits to ensure client satisfaction.Resolves customer issues and supports distributor personnel in maintaining business within accounts.Provides leadership and support to the Brand Ambassador team executing samplings and events.Attends promotional events as instructed to promote RBC/BCW products and brand.Targets, sells, builds, and maintains off premise displays and product shelf placement management.Maintains the integrity of the RBC/BCW brand including logos, likenesses, images, and all written content (whether in print or online).Communicates effectively and clearly in written correspondence to distributor, retailer, and customer inquiries.Presents oneself in a professional manner at all times during all customer/client interactions in various settings.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all company policies, procedures and work practices.What you'll need:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in business, management, operations or related fieldMinimum of two (2) years of experience in sales, specifically a wholesaler/supplier roleDemonstrated experience managing a territory, maintaining clients, obtaining new clients and meeting sales goalsValid, current driver license Reliable transportation with required insurance(s)Ability to work independentlyAbility to constantly travel within assigned territoryWillingness to continually increase knowledge in the fieldStrong prioritization, planning, time management, negotiation, and presentation skillsCRM experience a plusResults-oriented, detailed, with high accountabilityStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsCollaborative attitude and always presents professionallyWhy Us?RBC and BCW is located in the heart of the City of Good Neighbors, Buffalo, NY.
